The world of car stereo can be staggeringly large. We carry only high rated stereos with amazing sound. Here is a short list of things to consider when shopping for the perfect stereo for you.
- What is your price range?
- Do you want to be able to play CD’s?
- Do you want DVD playback when you are parked?
- Do you need a iOs or Android port?
- Do you want a USB port? You can charge your devices while you drive with t his function.
- Do you want Bluetooth capability? If you make calls while you drive, or your car is your office you’ll want to consider this option. In many states this is required.
- Do you want Sirius Radio or any other satellite radio?
- Do you want HD radio?
- Do you want indash GPS and navigation?
- What size do you want? A single DIN is 7 x 2 and a double DIN unit is about 7 x 4 inches
- Do you want touch screen or physical controls? touch screen is nice but physical controls are easier to do without taking your eyes off the road.
- Do you want steering wheel compatibility?
See? Staggering? And this is just the receiver! Then you have the speakers to consider but we’ll save that discussion for another day.
