Alpine S-Series S-S69C 6"X9" coaxial 2-way speakers. The S-Series speakers are the first in the industry to use a material called CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic), a very lightweight yet rigid material. On a standard, off-the-shelf oval cone, the edges are naturally weaker than the center due to the elongated shape.

Alpine S-Series S-S40 4" 2-way Coaxial Speakers. The S-Series speakers have a large voice coil. The voice coil size on the 6.5-inch and 6x9-inch models is 35 mm, which boosts their driving power and motor control. The S-Series speakers are the first in the market to employ CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic), a material that is incredibly light but rigid.
