Alpine 2 Pack S-S65 S Series 6.5 Inch Coaxial 2 Way 240 Watts Car Speakers
Alpine's been building quality car speakers for decades, and their latest S-Series S-S65 6-1/2" speakers are no exception. If you've been living with anemic factory sound, this step up in range, tone definition, and power handling will make you giddy just about every time you hop behind the wheel. And if you're really jonesing for a boost in sound quality, hook them up to a powerful aftermarket stereo or amp for increased performance.
Alpine's carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic woofer cones provide next-level sturdiness but are also agile enough to handle the complexities of the midrange. Their high amplitude multi-roll rubber surround contributes to reduced distortion for a cleaner sound, while silk dome tweeters give you all the precise details that bring out the character of the instruments and vocals

Superior Sound: HAMR Surround
Alpine’s patented H.A.M.R. (High Amplitude Multi-Roll) surround is now found on the S-Series speakers. This proven technology increases excursion while maintaining accuracy and linearity. The multi-roll design allows for an even unfolding of the surround which creates incredible linearity and colorization rejection.
Superior Performance: Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic
The S-Series speakers are the first in the industry to use a material called CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic), a very lightweight yet rigid material. On a standard, off-the-shelf oval cone, the edges are naturally weaker than the center due to the elongated shape. Since the CFRP material is directional, it can be manipulated during the molding process to strengthen the areas of the cone that are normally weak. The result is rigidity throughout the cone that delivers accurate and efficient performance. The ability to manipulate the CFRP material during the molding process is currently exclusive to Alpine and the S-Series speakers. Alpine has three patent-pending procedures in support of this innovative manufacturing process. With special consideration given to oval shaped speakers that are commonly found inside the doors of most vehicles now, this process helps to ensure that distortion or warp are a thing of the past with your listening experience regarding oval shaped speakers. .
Wide Frequency Response
The 1-inch silk dome on the tweeters is perfect for recreating pleasant upper range response without creating listening fatigue. The soft silk material ensures wide frequency response and durability for long term playback. Not sure what a tweeter exactly is? A tweeter is a small speaker that produces the upper range of sound, or treble. They provide a crisp, well-detailed sound that enhances the listening experience in conjunction with the woofers, which enhance the lower range of sound, or bass. Together, this provides a full range of sound that most factory speakers are unable achieve.
Keep in mind, there is more to the S-series than just speakers. Pair your speakers with other S-series products like the S-A60 M S-Series Class D Mono Amplifier, subs, and even an Alpine Receiver to complete your system to experience superior sound quality that doesn’t break the bank.
