The Alpine uniqueness technology H.A.M.R. (High Amplitude Multi-Roll) surround is adapted from the high-end sound system X-Series increasing high output and superb sound quality. The voice coin size has been updated to the larger one. The enhancement increases the ability of sound quality, making the sound become more resonant.
Alpine S-Series S-S40 4" 2-way Coaxial Speakers. The S-Series speakers are the first in the industry to use CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic), a very lightweight yet rigid material. Since the CFRP material is directional, it can be manipulated during the molding process to strengthen the areas of the cone that are normally weak. The result is rigidity throughout the cone that delivers accurate and efficient performance.
